What we collect, and what we don't.
We collect as little as we can, and we never touch patient data. Here is exactly what happens with the information you give us.
1. What we collect
- Free Blind Spot Check: your clinic name, city and email address.
- Orders: your name, email, clinic name, the competitors you tell us about, and your payment details, which go directly to Stripe. We only see the last four digits of your card.
- Emails you send us and, if you keep Competitor Watch, your subscription status.
- How you use this site: pages you visit, what you click, how far you scroll, which form fields you fill in (not what you type in them), the ad or link that brought you here, and your device and browser type. See section 3.
We do not collect, request or store any patient information, booking system logins or medical records.
2. How we use it
- To run your Free Blind Spot Check and deliver your audit and Competitor Watch alerts.
- To email you about your order and, unless you unsubscribe, about Blind Spot. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- To improve the Services. We may use anonymised, aggregated data about clinics and markets in our own research.
We do not sell your information. We never share which clinics have used Blind Spot with their competitors.
3. Who else sees it
- Stripe processes payments under its own privacy policy.
- Our email provider sends your check, audit and alerts.
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram) receives site activity through the Meta Pixel so we can measure our ads and show them to relevant clinic owners. If you give us your email, the pixel sends a scrambled (hashed) version of it so Meta can match it to an account. Meta’s policy: facebook.com/privacy/policy.
- Google Analytics measures visits and which pages and links work. Google’s policy: policies.google.com/privacy.
- Microsoft Clarity records anonymised clicks, scrolling and page layout so we can fix confusing parts of the site. It masks what you type. Microsoft’s policy: privacy.microsoft.com.
- These tools set cookies. Visitors in the EU and UK are asked first, and nothing loads unless they accept. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we do not load the Meta Pixel. You can also block cookies in your browser at any time.
We use service providers in the United States and the European Union, and we require them to protect your data.
4. How long we keep it
We keep your details for as long as you have an active service with us and for up to 3 years afterwards, unless the law requires longer. Email us to have your information deleted sooner.
5. Your rights
You can ask us at any time to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or to stop marketing emails. Email info@getblindspotcheck.com and we reply within 5 business days. If you are in a state with a consumer privacy law (such as California), you have the rights that law gives you, and we honour them.
